Iwinosa Kids Spring/Summer Sewing Class

Overview:

Discover the world of IWINOSA (pronounced ee-wee-NO-sah), which means "Beauty in Stitches." Our fashion accessories and sewing classes are tailored for kids interested in fashion and design. This course will be COMPLETELY FREE and will introduce essential skills through creating accessories like bags, scarves, and jewelry, along with basic sewing techniques such as stitching, hemming, and pattern-making. Join us for an exciting and creative sewing journey designed to spark imagination, develop skills, and nurture a love for crafting in kids.

Classes will run for SPRING SEASON - APRIL 2026. Time will be provided.

ALL MATERIALS WILL  BE PROVIDED. 

Objective:

To introduce beginners to the world of fashion accessories and sewing through interactive and hands-on classes.

Course Structure:

- Introduction to fashion accessories and their role in completing an outfit
- Basic sewing techniques and tools

- Creating a simple tote bag

- Designing and sewing a scarf

- Crafting an embellished bracelet

- Final project: designing and creating a personalized accessory

Meet Angela Enwezor, a self-taught fashion designer, owner of Prisca’s Art, and founder of NGO Iwinosa Timeless Stitches. With practical experience in fashion design and accessory making, Angela is dedicated to sharing her expertise with these young and gifted minds.
