A Little History

Angela Prisca Enwezor, a proven seamstress and fashion designer of Prisca’S Art, was established in 2018- with a BA in International Relations & History. Born in Nigeria and relocated to Washington, DC, her love for making clothing goes far back as in school when she did it as a side job. Angela is passionate about mixing art with wearability, sourcing for genuine fabrics, and creating pieces to fit your Personality and Lifestyle. Batik, Adire, Kente and Ankara are African fabrics used to create modern functional pieces that appeal to the contemporary woman.

A Wife and mother of two amazing kids who helps other women elevate the beauty already within.. I was/still am that girl who would spend hours just putting things together and clothes just to make sure it looked right.

Angela started an annual Sidewalk fashion Show about three years ago in Washington DC. And have since been featured in the BlackBride1998, ABC7GMW, and Huff Post. And her most recent collection - MOTHERLAND, was debuted at the VOYAGETOUTOPIA annual Fashion Show Saturday, December 4th 2021.
